Project Description When I was in college - folks would ask me what I saw myself doing when I grew up. My answer was to stand in a field of poppies -- or sand windowsills. Neither of which needed the various courses I was taking. My friends still laugh and all report in to me when they are doing one or the other. A number of years ago (feels like a lifetime ago!) my dear friend Tina and her (now other worldly) husband Gary were off having tea with Prince Charles. Alas. I must live vicariously for a moment. Done. Okay - when they were at whatever house is pictured in this project, they went to a gift shop he had to help pay for the estate. They saw this poppies picture of the home & sent it my way. I suppose wherever there are poppies or windowsills - my undecided 19-year-old me will haunt my friends decades later. When Gary passed away - I set the project aside. In my basement remodel, I've been picking up my orphaned projects. Time to start again.

Materials Cross stitch aida fabric and embroidery floss.
