Project Description I wanted to make a quilt in 1930s Reproduction Fabrics. It would give me an excuse to gather and collect these fun prints. I then "charmed" each of the corners with a different fabric swatch. The plates are hand-pieced using English paper piecing. The corners are sewn. I have started enough blocks to do a 6x6 block quilt + sashing. Each block is 18" square. I have a large bed with an 18" drop. I'm still designing how to sash the quilt. In the 30s they did these fun serpentine sashes that I'm considering.
