Bio By day I work in Salt Lake's urban environment. I am an investigative paralegal and see some of the extremes of human nature. I unwind on my drive past the lake to a small town. The fields with cows, horses, and sheep are being replaced by bedroom suburbs -- but you can still have the sense of wonder and awe that comes as spring appears. I love to unwind with projects. My Zen of quilting (or knitting, or gardening, or painting, or...) helps me live in the moment. After working on a project I feel centered. The stresses of my day slide off my shoulders as I watch the drop spindle do its task. The finished product is secondary to my love of the process. I have a supportive family who knows that I need some moments of solitude to create.
